Vintage Mini Paolo Soleri Sand-Cast Bronze Bell, Circa 1970s. Designed around an organic form with geometric surface ridge details. Brutalist in style, the patinated surface is aged to perfection in shades of rust and green. The bell retains its original fin and is signed in the mold with the traditional Soleri cartouche. Each original bell produced by Soleri is unique with no two bells being exactly the same.
Sold without chain extension, pairs perfectly with a chain, leather cord or ribbon.
Paolo Soleri was an Italian architect. He established the educational Cosanti Foundation and Arcosanti, an "urban laboratory" (so-dubbed by Ada Louise Huxtable, who at the time was the architectural critic of The NY Times) which became internationally renowned in Arizona.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal surface wear.
