Vintage Sculptural Russian Hammered Brass + Copper Vessel, Circa Early 20th Century. Dramatic form with a swooping rim and loop handles raised above the base. Art nouveau in style, the majority of the body is constructed from hammered brass with an applied copper band along the rim. The small circular platform base is weighted on the interior for improved stability. Tinned interior. Unsigned, likely produced in Russia.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with minimal surface wear. Areas of finish variation and light abrasion. Each handle has slightly separated at the base, from the body, but does not affect the function, stability or design (barely noticeable).
