Antique Salt Cellars in Seaweed Yellow Ware and Turned Burl Wood, Circa Early-Mid 19th Century. At the time these cellars were produced, salt was a valuable commodity and was presented tabletop with pride.
Antique Salt Cellar in Seaweed Yellow Ware Pottery, Circa Mid-19th Century. Squat form with a wide foot. Constructed from yellow ware pottery with a band of black seaweed surface design on white. Unsigned.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with minimal wear. A couple very small minor flea bites to the underside as photographed.
Antique Georgian Turned Wood Salt Cellar with a Ring Stepped Base, Circa First-Half 19th Century. Beautifully proportioned with a pronounced lip and incised stripe detailing. This piece retains a soft, original patinated finish. Likely produced in the UK. Unsigned.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with minimal surface wear. Areas of light finish variation present as detailed in images.
