Vintage Japanese Kyodai Tri-Fold Mirror Tansu Vanity/Chest, Circa 1950s. Designed for use on the floor while kneeling to apply makeup / style hair, this handsome vanity features a tri-fold, beveled glass mirror and three storage compartments. The cerused wood body is crafted with elegant waterfall edges. The center panel features a frosted glass tray perfect for displaying fragrances or accessories. Delicate brass pulls open the three compartments, with each drawer painted pink on the interior adding a pop of color to the neutral palette. Produced in Japan. Unsigned.
Condition: Great vintage condition, presents light wear and surface variation commensurate with age and use. The central frosted glass tray was replaced in-house.
