Vintage Carved + Painted Wood Farmer Milking a Cow Whirligig, Circa 1950s. Hand-carved and vibrantly painted domestic scene of a seated farmer milking a cow. The maker repurposed steel tabletop fan blades for the turbine which allows the farmer to milk the cow when the fan is engaged. Stamped “II” along the green base. Unsigned.
Recently outfitted with a custom steel stand by Ty Tripoli.
Condition: Great vintage condition, some paint loss and surface variation throughout, wear commensurate with age and use (as pictured). A small loss to the cow’s tail.
