Antique Gilt Painted Pine Jug Sculpture, Circa Early 20th Century. Constructed from solid turned pine with an applied bow handle and a mock stopper. The full painted gold body has gained a beautiful soft patina over time. It’s likely this was either used as part of a fraternal / Odd Fellows ceremony or as a trade sign. Unsigned.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with minimal surface wear. Retains original gold paint across the body. Small areas of abrasion and paint finish variation as detailed in images.
