Vintage Folk Art Pine + Plywood Crescent Moon "Stairway to Heaven" Wall Shelf with Gilt Details, Circa 1930s. Folk Art wall hanging centered on a plywood crescent moon and a staircase representing the stairway to heaven. The stairs and banisters are lined in gold paint, with a brass chain railing adding to the celestial quality. Likely created as a shop project. Perfect for displaying smalls or as a standalone wall sculpture. Unsigned.
Condition: Great vintage condition, surface variation present throughout with wear commensurate with age and use as detailed in images. A small repair was made earlier in life to the top point of the moon, barely visible.
