Vintage Natural Woven Straw Hinged-Lid Box, Circa 1930s-40s. Constructed from varying woven bands of natural straw with a pine base around a framework of wood dowels. The rectangular body is set atop four spiraling straw orb feet. A woven loop handle at the center-top allows for easy access to the interior compartment. Likely designed as storage for sewing notions. Unsigned.
Condition: Great vintage condition with minimal wear. Small breaks within the woven straw, barely noticeable and do not detract from the strength or appearance.
