Antique Elongated Silver-Tone Stamped Brass Glove Box, Circa Early 20th Century. Wood base construction with applied meticulously worked sheets of brass. Stamped details in the style of coral cover the exterior of the box with undulating grooves filled with dotted details. The pronounced base sits atop four orb feet. The interior was lined in blue-gray chenille later in life. Unsigned.
Condition: Great antique condition, surface variation and wear present throughout. Light indentations to the corners and edges of the lid. One of the pins in the hinges has been replaced, locking mechanism is incomplete and no longer functions (as pictured).
