Rare Art Deco Henry Griffith + Sons Sterling Silver, Malachite and Agate Inkwell / Storage Container, Circa 1930s. Exquisite objet crafted of polished agate, inlaid with a central stripe of malachite. Base of box incorporates a sterling silver rim and mounted/hinged lid. Stamped “HG&S Sterling” on the silver edge of base on the left. Contains a central glass storage container for perfume, essentials oil or ink as originally intended.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, light surface wear with small abrasions to corners commensurate with age and use.
