Vintage Art Deco Adjustable Wrought Iron Valet Stand, Circa 1930s. The black, iron stand features quintessential Art Deco geometric elements. Graduating inverted triangles above the base create a graphic radial motif before terminating into the stepped, triangular base. The square-cut rod shaft adjusts with a screw knob at the center. The rack is designed around a central diamond plaque with an asymmetrical graduating post detail. Hammered surface texture throughout the body. Unsigned.
Condition: Great vintage condition, light surface finish variation with some minor rust spots, commensurate with age and use. Stand slightly pitches backward, more so when raised (does not affect stability of the piece). As pictured.
