Vintage Sculptural Cast Brass Spider Buckle by Carl Tasha, Numbered 105/500, Circa 1970s. This anthropomorphic belt buckle is cast from solid brass in the style of a large spider framed within a web with central brass orb at the top. Signed “C Tasha” and numbered “105/500.” The keeper fits up to 1 3/4’ belt strap.
Carl Tasha was a sculpture artist working out of Provincetown, Mass. during the 70s. His work includes brass and sterling silver pieces taking inspiration form natural elements such as animals, insects and plants. He produced many works by hand including jewelry, buckles and sculptures.
Offered without the belt strap.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, minimal surface variation with light wear commensurate with age and use
