Vintage Accordion Bamboo + Fishnet Basket Handbag, Circa Mid-20th Century. Teal-dyed bamboo frame with yellow-dyed cotton fishnet woven to the basket structure. When expanded, the bag has a ball-like shape with two extended handles. A brown leather with red snap closure rests at the center-top of the bag. Collapses flat. A metal maker’s mark tag is affixed to the side. Likely made in Japan.
Condition: Great vintage condition, light surface wear commensurate with age and use. One red mark on the yellow fishnet, likely nail polish from a previous owner (as pictured).
