Vintage Plush Polished Cotton Dog with Quilted Details, Circa 1930-40s. This minimalist dog is constructed with a soft interior batting and covered in polished black cotton with vibrant accents. The details are concentrated to the face with this piece, incorporating hand-stitched quilt-like facial features in white, turquoise, red and canary yellow. Large floppy ears and curling tail add interest. The unique nature of this piece elevates it from an everyday stuffed animal to soft sculpture. Unsigned, artist unknown.
