Vintage Parquetry Box with Removable Tray + Velvet Interior, Circa 1920s-30s. A captivating example of parquetry, this tabletop box showcases the artisan’s skill in woodworking. Comprised of geometric cuts of various woods, the design extends to all sides with a central eight-point star on each. The stepped hinged lid opens to reveal an interior mirror and deep blue velvet lined compartments with a removable tray. Unsigned.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with minimal wear. The body has light areas of finish variation. The interior is in excellent condition with only light spotting present within the glass mirror panel. Retains original lock, but missing key (can be replaced to function if desired).
