Antique Cast Iron Elephant Coin Bank, Circa Early 20th Century. Figural cast iron coin bank in the style of a carnival elephant. The body is detailed to resemble the features and folds of the elephant’s skin, fully gilt with the original red paint on the howdah still visible. Unbranded.
Condition: Good vintage condition, surface variation present with light losses to the painted and gilt surface applications. A fragment of tail is missing from earlier in life (as pictured)
