Vintage Mid-Century Abstract Oil on Canvas with Heavy Impasto, Circa 1960s. This piece is centered on a melange of hues: ecru, green, white, turquoise, black, gray and ochre. Each vertical stroke is rendered in an individual tone, slightly overlapping and blending with the neighboring color. Surrounded by a rapidly rendered ground of taupe and green. Framed within a minimal gilt wood + gesso frame. Unsigned.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal surface wear. The frame shows light signs of wear with areas of rubbing and light gilt loss.
