Vintage Black + White Glazed Ceramic Tile Artwork in Teak Frame, Circa 1950s. Each small square tile is glazed white with brushed stripes of black. The random organization of the tiles with vertical and horizontal stripes adds to the graphic composition. The reverse of this panel shows this piece may have started life as a small tabletop, but later repurposed as a work of art. Framed in teak with a plywood backing. Unsigned.
Condition: Great vintage condition. Wear commensurate with age and use as photographed. One small area of loss to the rear of the teak framing, as shown in images.
