Vintage Il Circo Screenprint Linen Wall Hangings, Circa 1960s. Circus-themed, titled “Il Circo,” these Italian natural linen panels were produced by Zucchi of Milan. Printed in tones of pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, and red each panel presents a different theme from the circus, with verbiage in Italian, English and French. Illustrated are "The Pavilion” with a large tent and string of flags and “The Acrobat” with a figure mid-aerial performance. Stamped ZUCCHI MILANO in the lower right of each. These were likely samples, and possibly never produced.
