Vintage Biomorphic Pit Fired Sculpture, Circa 1980s. Organic and sensual in form, the work is composed of a central bowl form with three soft sculpted formations extending from it. The piece can be hung on a wall from holes at the backside and can also sit flat on a table for use of the bowl. As typical with pit fired ceramics, the work employs shades of black, gray and cream tones produced by the amount of carbon that was allowed to interact with the piece during firing. Unsigned.
