Vintage Walnut Lidded Storage Box with Contrast Stripes, Circa 1970s-80s. A gorgeous wood storage box constructed with a fitted lid, designed with a carved well and contrast wood striping along the face. The maker of this piece interestingly opted for use of tubular brass in the construction of the mitered corner joints in lieu of more traditional wood dowel splines. Unsigned. In the style of pieces by Tony Lydgate and Don Shoemaker.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal surface wear. A couple very small areas of surface abrasion, as detailed in images.
