Vintage Folk Art Painted Picket Fence-Style Corner Shelf, Circa 1930s. This folk art piece was likely constructed from leftover material the maker had on hand. The four triangular shelves graduate in scale as they move up the piece, supported by three wood slats on each side. Thick built-up layers of paint help to show the history of this piece. Unsigned.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Overall painted surface variation with some areas of paint loss and uneven texture. Possibly had two additional slats on the backside. A couple small cracks in the slatted side supports (does not detract from the overall appearance or strength of the piece.)
