Vintage Handmade Wood Runabout Speedboat Sculpture / Storage Box, Circa 1940s. Handmade speedboat model sculpture with mixed wood construction, contrast inlay, green felted seats. The metal accents are rendered in brass and gold painted metal. Mounted on a removable contrast wood base. The central compartment lifts to cleverly stow your treasures. Unsigned.
Condition: Good vintage condition, surface variation present throughout commensurate with age and use, light losses to the wood, missing some metal ornamental elements but fully stable and functional (as pictured). Rudder has been re-soldered. Wear to green felted surfaces present.
