Vintage Bamboo Coat Stand Attributed to Franco Albini, Circa 1950s-60s
Vintage Bamboo Coat Stand Attributed to Franco Albini, Circa 1950s-60s. Constructed from bamboo with rattan lashing and wood details. Designed to accommodate both apparel and hats along circular bamboo rings and posts capped with wooden orbs. A central bamboo post leads to four splayed legs supported by a bamboo ring stretcher along the base underside. Unsigned.
CONDITION: Great vintage condition. Small areas of wear and repairs (some screws and original staples have been replaced over time to maintain the structural integrity of the stand.) There is a very slight angle to the stand, does not detract at all from the look or function.
