Rare stamp box by San-Francisco based artist, Robert Mckeown. Simple, yet stunning- the body is fashioned from walnut with multi-colored striped inlays of resin on the face and back. Constructed over a span of days in order to allow resin to properly dry and set. The interior space is intended to house coil stamps with slim groove accented with a cork stopper and brass spoke. Signed and stamped on the inside of box by the artist dated 1984.
