Vintage Folk Art Wood Noisemaker, Circa Mid-20th Century. This handmade noisemaker toy was constructed from unfinished pine assembled with steel nails and a simple dowel handle. A gear form allows a strip of wood to loudly snap against the body when rapidly rotated while holding the handle. Areas of original pencil notations along the body are visible, likely the signature or location of the maker.
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with minimal wear commensurate with age and use. Light areas of abrasion and wood patination from use.
