Antique Georgian Cast Iron Lidded Tobacco Box, Circa 19th Century. Eight-sided cast iron form originally made to cleverly house tobacco. The base of the box is raised on self, decorative feet with a faceted, pronounced lid. Features a cream enameled interior with the patinated surface retaining majority of its original paint. Sprue mark is visible on the underside. Unsigned.

Condition: Excellent antique condition, surface variation present throughout, wear commensurate with age and use (as pictured)
