Vintage Large Scale Hammered Brass Vessel with Ring Handles, Circa 1950s. Monumental hourglass form with a fluted pedestal base. The surface is hand-hammered creating a beautiful, squiggle texture throughout. The body of the vessel is accentuated with tubular, hollow ring handles for transport. Finished with a rolled, rope-like lip. Can be used as an umbrella stand, vase or sculpturally on its own. In the style of works by Egidio Casagrande. Unsigned.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, signs of surface variation throughout with naturally occurring patina. Can be polished if desired. One small dent in surface, barely noticable.
