Antique Sculptural Tin Bowl, Circa Early 20th Century. This soldered tin form was originally produced as a cheese coaster, with similar examples even dating as early as the mid 19th century. The surface is beautifully patinated with small remnants of its original red paint visible. Constructed from tin sheet, cut to shape and soldered. Circular rosette details on the corners reminiscent of an ionic column, with a soft scooped interior. Works perfectly as a centerpiece bowl or entry vide poche. Unbranded.

Condition: Great vintage condition. Beautifully patinated surface as detailed in images. Remnants of original red paint.
