Antique North Carolina Thrown Pottery Vessel With Double-Handle, Circa Mid 19th Century. A gorgeous minimal hand-thrown form produced for utilitarian use. Bulbous body with slim neck and hand-pulled double handle detail. These pieces have visible history and show their years of use. The surface of the vessel is a matte taupe pottery with hits of tan and rust at the neck and handles. Sourced in North Carolina, likely used as storage for molasses. Perfect for use as a vase.

Condition: Great vintage condition. The body of this piece is in excellent condition with natural surface variation. The lip of this piece shown with wear with light losses and chipping as detailed in images.
