Vintage Barbra Streisand Show Advertisement, Circa 1980s. This piece is an early 1980's re-print poster by TRITON Gallery NYC, advertising Barbra Streisand’s legendary 1966 Newport concert featuring a photo of Streisand in a sequined catsuit. The poster announces the appearance of Streisand at Festival Field in Newport, Rhode Island, on July 30, 1966 noting "An Occasion in Newport/One Performance Only." The concert, titled "An Evening with Barbra Streisand," was the first stop on her 1966 four-concert tour. According to news accounts the next day, she received a thunderous standing ovation from the 17,000 fans in attendance. Printed on cardboard stock and framed under glass.
