Vintage Cast Bronze Fist Sculpture on Wood Base, Signed R Silverman, Circa 1980s. Rough cast bronze in the form of a closed fist. Often seen as the symbol of political solidarity, a raised fist is used as a salute to express unity, strength, or resistance. The Brutalist solid bronze form has a tactile textured surface complete with bubbles and ridges that almost grow outwards from the hand form. Mounted on a dark walnut base with red felt underside and signed “R Silverman”.
