Vintage Genuine Alligator + Tortoise Lucite Tiled Zip Handbag, Circa 1940s. Trapezoidal purse made of square tiles of genuine alligator skin applied to a woven fabric ground. The design features an overlapping central panel of squares, adding visual depth to the purse. The handle and zipper pull are made of rectangular tortoise lucite links with alligator insets. Can be worn as a handbag or shoulder bag. Unlabeled.
