Antique Large-Scale Hammered Copper Wine Cooler/ Rafraîchissoir, Circa 18th Century. Hand-hammered squat, bulbous form with a flared mouth and rolled lip. The beauty here is in the material and simplicity of design. The copper exhibits a wonderful warm exterior surface patina with natural verdigris visible on the interior walls, demonstrating its age and use over time. Unsigned.
