Vintage Cedar Cross-Hatch Base Pedestal / Side Table by Dick and Goldie Du Pont, Circa 1970s. Gorgeous rustic warm-tone cedar with visible dowel construction. The base of the table is formed from wood slats in a cross-hatch design. Signed on the underside of the base “Handcrafted by Dick & Goldie Du Pont”. The couple, originally from Worcester, Mass, retired in Kennebunk, Maine where they likely designed and constructed the table. The Du Pont’s were well known for their handcrafted furniture.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal surface wear. A couple small areas of scratching on the base.
