Vintage Vibrant Small-Scale Framed Windmill Petite Needlepoint Artwork, A Pair, Circa 1960s. The tight embroidery creates pixelated scenes centered around a village with a commanding windmill in the background. The horizontal piece focuses more on the structures in the village with a small grey path, outlined in acid green, dividing the ground. Meanwhile, the vertical piece closes in on the windmill with a structure featured below. Both are rendered with bright sky blue skies against verdant green grass. The same color palate is used for the structures. Handmade and signed Jan Trombley on the reverse of each.
