Vintage Large Scale Floral and Fruit Still Life Painting, Signed by Artist, Circa 1950s. The artist employed pastel colors, vibrant yellows and gestural strokes to allow the bowl of fruit and exaggerated floral arrangement to dance across the canvas. The active style is very reminiscent of works by Claude Monet. Signed in the lower right corner. The work retains its original period frame painted a light olive with gilt interior.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with only minimal wear to frame.
