Vintage Framed Oil on Board Single Pear Still-Life Painting by William James Flynn, Circa 1950s. Expressionist still life rendering of a central, radiant pear nestled atop draped white fabric. The background is painted in a melange of earthy tones providing the perfect setting for the singular fruit. Signed “William James Flynn” in the lower left. Painted on board and framed in a gilt carved wood frame with a linen mat and gilt liner.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Artwork is in great condition with minimal wear to carved wood frame. Slight areas of gilt loss and rubbing. The linen mat shows some signs of wear with areas of color variation and small stains as detailed in images.
