A midcentury beauty by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Daverkosen in Denmark, circa 1950s. Originally retailed by John Stuart.
Solid teak construction with a knife edge top suspended on brass orbs connecting to the sculpted legs and base. Lower shelf fitted with bow tie stretchers with a clean finish. Stamped with John Stuart, Inc., enameled medallion.
Condition: Great vintage condition, some light wear and spotting to surface. See pictures for details.
