Vintage Naturally Formed Root Sculpture, Circa 1960s. Substantial gnarled wooden root, grown in a cyclonic and sculptural fashion. The textured surface exhibits a thick painterly, grain along reaching roots and keyhole openings. Lacquered to highlight the beauty of the varied reddish coloring. Fitted with cork pads on the base. Form presents many old nails embedded in the body for unknown use in its previous life.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, shows signs of wear and surface variation commensurate with age and use (as pictured)
