Vintage Brutalist Patinated Steel Mounted Bust Signed F Bonney, Circa 1979. Minimal and almost abstract stye reminiscent of Picasso’s faces. Dimension is added to this cut steel piece by the varied surface finish treatments. Facial features are rendered in welded texture, surface cuts and surface bends. The piece is signed at the back of the metal base plate “F Bonney 79”. Mounted on a wood base with green felt underside.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal surface wear. Mixed finishes are present as an intentional and desired patina.
