Rare Vintage Copper Bow by Michael Bonne, Circa 1980s/1990s. A large-scale sculptural work rendered in copper sheet with a natural surface patina. Whimsical construction with large open bow ears and a wavy double tail. Each component is crafted from doubled copper sheets with a rolled edge. A central ring on the backside is mounted for hanging. If desired, this piece can also be polished.Perfect for hanging on a wall or door. Likely produced earlier in Bonne’s career, as this piece is unsigned and later production runs of this work were branded. Michael Bonne would later go on to become Martha Stewart’ s favorite Cookie Cutter Coppersmith!
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Natural warm surface patina.
