Antique Victorian Walnut Spiderweb Accordion Wall Rack with Central Mirror, Circa 1880s. The dark finished walnut body was designed to collapse and expand, creating various shapes based on its wall placement. A rectangular mirror is mounted at the center with painted and gilt gesso frame, surrounded by twelve turned wood knobs for hanging hats and garments. Each knob is topped with a white porcelain stud with stamped brass rim. Unbranded.
Condition: Great antique condition. Minimal surface wear and finish variation present to wood folding rack. Heavier wear is present along the edges of the central gesso frame with areas of gesso and finish loss as shown.
