Antique Guadalupe Holy Water Glazed Pottery Vessel, Circa Early 20th Century. Crafted from pottery with a translucent green glaze, the body resembles a barrel, with an applied rose on the face and backside. A coiled handle adds interest while also offering functionality. Likely created to carry holy water from a "Miracle Spring" in Mexico, believed to offer healing properties. The last image from the University of California, shows three glazed vessels with similar embellishment from ca. 1900. Unsigned.
