Vintage Folk Art Pyrography Frame with Layered Hibiscus Corner Medallions, Circa Early 20th Century. This particular style demonstrates an advanced level of skill not typically seen with pyrography pieces as it veers from the standard stenciled designs. The notched edge of the frame harkens back to traditional chipped tramp art designs. Each side is punctuated with a scrolling flame detail and chipped, ticking motifs. Each corner is layered with a sizable hibiscus medallion. This warmly patinated antique frame was outfitted in-house with the mirrored panel. Unsigned.
