Vintage Wrought Iron Floor Lamp with X-Base, Circa 1940s. A mix of Spanish and industrial influences, this floor lamp is constructed from black painted forged iron. A central twist detail, forged handle, rivets and x-base add to the interest. It’s possible that this piece started its life as a floor candelabra, then later electrified. Paired + sold with a cream conical pleated fabric shade. Unbranded.
Condition: Great vintage condition. Surface wear commensurate with age + use. Varied surface finish and patina with larger areas of (surface only) rust along x-base. We prefer this naturally aged and rustic look with wrought iron, but the surface can be easily refreshed if the buyer chooses to do so.
