Vintage Sculptural Hand-Woven Reed Mushroom Table Lamp, Circa 1960s. A rare piece, the body and shade are completely woven from natural reeds in various patterns, joined by an interior dowel structure. Finely constructed, similar fabrication in typically found in basket form, rarely in lighting. When lit, the shade’s loose weave allows for a beautifully diffused glow. Unbranded and likely produced outside the US. Ball-chain pull switch.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Minimal wear to woven body of lamp with a few small breaks in woven reed strands.
