Vintage Handmade Sculptural Cedar Table Lamp, Circa 1970s
Vintage Handmade Sculptural Cedar Table Lamp, Circa 1970s. The body is constructed from refined cuts of cedar arranged to form a tripod base with each leg connected with use of wood pegs. A central column above the base attaches the base and shade. The conical shade is made of eight slats connected to a central disc with wood pegs. Between each slat is a slubby, parchment petal-shaped fabric vent. Unsigned.
Condition: Great vintage condition, one previous repair to one of the slats (two visible nails on the exterior which can be oriented to the backside). Shade has been restored with the original materials, reattaching the fabric components to the wood structure.
