Rare Vintage Wrought Iron Table Lamp With Raffia Fringe Shade, Circa 1940s. Brutalist in style, the body is composed of hand-forged iron, with splayed tripod feet. The artisan added delicate, horizontal stripe detailing to the shaft and feet. Complete with a large, hammered iron shade with knotted raffia fringe and pointed finial. An incredibly unique and substantial piece. Fitted with two sockets and the original push-switch. Unsigned.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, shows light signs of wear with light surface patina to the iron base and slight variation to the weave of the grass shade (as pictured).
