Rare Vintage Jane + Gordon Martz for Marshall Studios Incised Stoneware Lamp 141-35-122, Circa 1960s/70s. A rare iteration from Jane and Gordon Martz produced for her family’s business, Marshall Studios in Indianapolis. The incised motif first appeared in Catalog 16 from the 60s. This particular style and size is documented in the Marshall Studios 1974 Catalog No. 35. The stoneware base (141) is rendered in textured grey (35) with a tan abstract motif (122). Likely a custom order piece from the catalog, opting for the teak neck and finial, which would have come at a premium, as an upgrade from walnut. Signed “Martz” on the lower backside. Shown paired with a vintage pleated shade. Includes original teak finial.
